Wahga (Lahore)


A trip to Lahore would be incomplete without visiting Attari-Wahga or Wahga. It is a small village and border crossing station situated in Wahga zone (Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan). This place is famous for its daily evening flag lowering ceremony practised by the military of both neighbouring countries India and Pakistan. The cheering crowd and the drill on both sides of the borderline is something that fills tourists’ heart with patriotism. This place also serves as a railway station and a transit for transmitting goods between Pakistan and India.
